Stew

The home binder that lives on your phone.

Stew keeps the records for your home in one place — appliances and their manuals, warranties, service providers, bills, and the documents that go with them. Everything stays on your phone. No account, no sign-up, no subscription.

Privacy Policy

Effective September 14, 2026

Stew stores your data on your device and nowhere else. There are no Stew servers, no accounts, and no sign-in. We never receive, see, or collect anything you put in the app.

What Stew stores, and where

Your records live in a database on your phone. Backups are written to your own iCloud Drive, in a folder that belongs to your Apple account — Apple's privacy policy governs iCloud storage. Deleting the app's data in iOS Settings, or the backup folder in iCloud Drive, removes it; there is no copy anywhere else.

What Stew collects

Nothing. Stew has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party data collection of any kind.

Device permissions

Stew asks for a permission only when you use the feature that needs it, and uses it only on your device:

AI import

Stew can build a text prompt for you to paste into an AI app you already use, so that app can read a bill or listing for you. You choose the app, you send the prompt, and you can read the entire text before sharing it. Whatever you share with that AI app is governed by its privacy policy, not this one. Stew itself sends nothing.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date.
